The Elmwood Retreat came to Lauren Taylor Home as an empty investment property with good bones and no direction. The owner, based out of state, needed a trusted partner to handle everything — from initial design concept through final installation, listing creation, and ongoing guest management.
Working within a defined budget, every room was designed with short-term rental performance in mind. Durable materials, layered lighting, and carefully sourced furnishings create a space that photographs beautifully, feels genuinely welcoming, and holds up to the demands of a high-occupancy rental calendar.
Today, The Elmwood Retreat consistently earns five-star reviews, maintains a 92% occupancy rate, and operates entirely hands-off for its owner.
